Impact

2026 is the first year. Here is what we committed to.

The Foundation does not have outcomes to report yet. The first cohort of scholars begins in 2026. What we can report is what we committed, how selection was conducted, and how we will account for the results.

Outcome data — graduation rates, completion, employment — will be published here as the first cohort progresses. There is nothing to report until the 2026–27 academic year is complete.

What we track

Accountability starts with the question, not the answer.

Before we can report outcomes, we have to commit to what we are measuring. These are the four things the Foundation tracks for every scholar, starting from the first disbursement.

Academic progress

CGPA at end of each funded session. Scholars who do not maintain a 4.0 minimum are reviewed by the panel before the second-year renewal.

Disbursement timing

Whether funds reached the institution or scholar before the fee deadline. We consider a late payment a program failure.

Completion

Whether each funded scholar completes their degree. Tracked for five years post-funding for undergraduate scholars.

Outcomes

Employment, further study, or entrepreneurial activity within two years of graduation. Tracked for each scholar once they complete their degree.

Adaeze Okonkwo, Computer Engineering, University of Lagos.

Cohort 01 · 2026 · Lagos

Adaeze applied in March 2026, three weeks before her departmental fees were due. She had been awarded a place in the program the previous year but had no means to fund the second. Her CGPA was 4.3.

"I kept waiting for the condition," she said. "Every other thing I had applied for came with a condition. Maintain this, attend that, be available for this event. The Foundation sent the money and asked me to continue studying. That was it."

She is in her third year. She is not behind. She is not looking for another scholarship. She is studying.

That is the whole story. The Foundation considers it a success when there is no story to tell beyond this one.
